GRANDE RESERVE |
The vineyards of the Carignan that are used for the produce of this wine are more than a 100 years old. The other grapes used for this wine are Grenache, Mourvedre and Syrah. All grapes are handpicked and vigned under controlled temperatures. The wines are stored for several months in brand new French oakwood barrels. This process is unique because there different units of capacity used: 225 litres, 400 litres and 600 litres. The same juice goes into these different sized barrels and because of the influence of these various measures, each barrel has its own unique flavor. The wine is stored for 12 to 15 months and then they are blended in different proportions. Each harvest is different, depending on the used blend. |

RESERVE SPECIALE |
Made of the classic Corbières blend: Carrignan, Grenache, Mourvedre and Syrah. A strict selection of handpicked grapes. The grapes are transferred to 1 and 2 year old oakwooden barrels, that were previously used for the Grande Reserve. The wines will ripen for 2 years in these barrels and then they are bottled. The flower on the label of this wine is the Hortensia Orchid, which links to the authentic botanic garden of the Marquis de St. Felix, where Château de l’Horte is named after. In those days the garden was well known, and it still exists in its orginal form next to the Château. |

MARQUIS DE MONTBRUN |
This wine is made from the traditional grape types from the Corbières: Carignan, Grenache, Syrah and Mouvedre. Part of this wine underwent riping on oak woorden barrels for 6 months. This way, the wine created a supple, rounded flavor without the influence of the wood of the barrels. The fruit is in balance due to the relatively short period of riping.
